The Roots of Japanese Anime

Hem anime bilgisi Full Metal Alchemist ya da Captain Tsubasa ile sınırlı olanların, hem daha profesyonel geçinenlerin, hem de konu hakkında sıfır bilgisi olanların  izlemesi gerekir gibi duran bir yarı belgesel The Roots of Japanese Anime Until The End of WWII.

DVD, 1930-1942 yılları arasında çekilmiş 8 adet anime içeriyor. midnighteye yazarlarından Jasper Sharp ve Yale Üniversitesi profesörlerinden Aaron Gerow ise filmlere ve döneme ait bilgilendirmeleri yapıyorlar.
